One of the fun parts about winter in a big city is that all of the cute little dogs that people carry around in their purses get all decked out in cute little sweater outfits. But, if you thought that dogs in sweaters was the cutest thing you’d see this winter, you were wrong. During the bitter temperatures of that polar vortex the beginning of the month, an alpaca farm in Aiken, South Carolina noticed that their furry friends were looking a little cold – especially the babies. So, to solve the problem, they popped over to Goodwill and picked up a bunch of children’s sweaters, and slipped them right onto the little guys. They frolicked about with their mothers in camo, stripes, and polka dots, looking all sorts of adorable. Check out the full story (and more adorable pictures) here.

Who doesn’t love a little animal dressed up as a person? They’re adorable! Now, Japanese designer Makie Yamada is designing a whole LINE of clothes for Guinea-pigs (for realsy) that includes mini kimonos, dresses, and SANTA CLAUS suits just in case your little pet likes to celebrate Christmas. The accessories go as far as wedding dresses and faux hair extensions attached to hats. Zoo Portraits
So you need a gift for the animal lover who has everything. Check out Zoo Portraits! It’s an entire website by Yago Partal dedicated to selling cards, framed prints, canvases or posters of your favorite zoo animal all dressed up like a human. Hilarious (and adorable)! My favorite is the Lemur sticking his tongue out. You?
Menswear Dog
There is an entire tumblr devoted to cataloging pictures of dogs dressed in Menswear. I came across the photos via Honestly, WTF of this dapper shibu inu, but if you check out the site, there is much much more where that came from. Hours of fun enjoying animals dressed as people! Adorable dogs of all breeds looking more stylish than most of the guys you meet in bars!
Pet Squirrel Dressed Up as a Human
I came across this gem in this post on Yes and Yes dedicated to Web Time Wasters. The little guy you see is Tommy Tucker, a squirrel from the 1940’s that a woman adopted and dressed up in adorable little (most likely homemade) outfits. Hop on over to his page on The Retronaut, and check out his portfolio. He looks very distinguished in a medical uniform.
